Stone Belt Freight Hauls Pentagon Stone
Stone Belt Freight Lines, Inc. will haul more than 50 loads of Indiana limestone to the Pentagon over the next several months. The company is the hauler of choice for Bybee Stone Company, which was awarded the contract to fabricate all the limestone needed to repair the damaged Pentagon's facade. "It's an honor to be a part of the rebuilding America's command center," said Ted Benckart, president of Stone Belt Freight Lines. "We are pleased to be able to participate with Bybee on this project."

Driver Rick Williams took one of the first truckloads to Washington. As many of the company's drivers are, Williams was excited by the chance to haul some of the special cargo. "I'll always know I carried it," he explained. The shipment that Williams took included a commemorative etched piece of limestone, which the Bybee workers and Benckart signed.
